Privacy Policy for PanoReel

Last Updated: August 2026 (or date of publication)

Welcome to PanoReel: Wide Photo to Video ("PanoReel", "we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application handles your personal information, photos, videos, device data, and permissions when you use our app.

1. Summary of Key Principles

  • 100% On-Device Photo & Video Processing: All photo cropping, panning, animation rendering, and MP4 video generation take place locally on your device. We never upload, transmit, or store your photos or exported videos on our servers or any third-party servers.
  • No Account Required: You do not need to create an account or provide personal login credentials to use PanoReel.
  • Third-Party Ads: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect certain device identifiers and anonymized usage data in accordance with Google's policies and applicable consent mechanisms (GDPR/UMP).
  • Voluntary Feedback: If you contact support or submit a bug report, device diagnostic information is transmitted only with your explicit action to help us troubleshoot technical issues.

2. Information We Collect and Process

A. Photos and Media Files (Local Processing Only)

  • Access to Photos and Storage: PanoReel requires access to your device's photo gallery or storage so you can select panoramic and wide photos to animate, and to save the resulting MP4 video files back to your device.
  • Camera Access (Optional): If you choose to capture a new panorama or photo directly from within the app, camera permission will be requested.
  • No Server Uploads: Your media files remain exclusively on your device. We do not have access to your personal photos or rendered videos.

B. Advertising Data (Google AdMob)

We display banner, interstitial, and rewarded video ads via Google AdMob (Google LLC). Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and process certain information, including:

  • IP address (used for general geographic location / country level)
  • Advertising ID (such as Google Advertising ID / GAID on Android, or IDFA on iOS)
  • Device identifiers, operating system, device model, and carrier
  • Ad performance, interaction data, and fraud detection metrics

Consent Management (EEA / UK Users): For users located in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom, we implement Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain and manage consent for personalized advertising and cookies/identifiers in compliance with GDPR and ePrivacy directives. You can modify or revoke your consent preferences at any time in the app's Settings menu.

For more information on how Google uses data from apps that use its services, visit: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and Google's Privacy Policy.

C. Feedback and Support Diagnostics (Voluntarily Provided)

When you submit a bug report or feedback through the in-app support dialog, the following information is transmitted to our secure server (vr3d.cz):

  • User Input: Your message/feedback text and your email address (optional, only if you wish to receive a reply).
  • Diagnostic Technical Data: App version, device model and brand, operating system version (e.g., Android SDK level), system language, and timestamp.

This data is used solely to investigate technical glitches, fix crashes, and respond to your customer support inquiries. It is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for marketing.

D. Local Settings & Cache

The app stores your preferences (such as selected language, default export settings) and temporary rendering cache locally on your device via standard local storage (SharedPreferences / app cache directory). You can clear this cache at any time within the app's Settings screen.
