Virtual showroom: How to sell products that don't exist yet (and save millions on logistics)

Imagine you are going to a trade fair in Dubai. Instead of two trucks with heavy equipment and a week of building a stand, you take only hand luggage. In it, you have your glasses Meta Quest 3. And in them? Your entire portfolio, including products that won't go into production for six months. Welcome to the world of virtual showrooms.

Sell the vision, not just the prototype

The biggest pain point of B2B sales is physical accessibility. The customer wants to see the product, but all you have are CAD drawings or one expensive prototype that is just on the other side of the world.

In VR3D.cz we are addressing this problem. We can take your design data (CAD, STEP, IGES) and dress them up in Unreal Engine 5 in a photorealistic coat.

While the engineers are still fine-tuning the moulds for production, you already have a finished product in your glasses. You can put it in front of your client at 1:1 scale. It shines like real metal, the leather has texture, the glass reflects light. The client can't tell the difference from reality. And what's more? He can configure it.

Interactivity: more than just colours

The physical prototype is static. If you bring in a blue machine, the client must featuring, what he'd look like in red. He doesn't need imagination in a virtual showroom.

What we enable in real time:

  1. Instant configuration: Change colours, materials or equipment at the click of a button. The client builds his ideal product right in front of his eyes.

  2. Exploded View: Do you want to show a unique engine solution that is hidden under a cover? In real life, you would have to dismantle the machine. In VR, the product „breaks down“ into its component parts and you can showcase the internal technology.

  3. Animation in progress: Show the machine in full load, the turbine spinning or the airflow without having to deal with safety or noise on the stand.

Context is king: show the product to the client

Here comes our unique advantage - the connection with 3D scanning.

Most virtual showrooms take place in an empty „white infinity“. We're moving on. Does a client want to know if your new production line will fit in their lobby?

  1. We'll send a team to scan his space.

  2. This space is inserted into the VR application.

  3. We will place your virtual product directly in the client's digital hall.

He sees that there's exactly 80 cm of clearance around the machine. He sees how it fits. You're removing the last barrier to purchase - uncertainty.

Multi-user: business meeting in cyberspace

Selling is about people. That's why our apps are not just a „game for one“. We support full Multi-user mode.

What does that mean? You put on the glasses (in Prague) and your client (in New York, for example). You both appear in the same virtual space as avatars.

  • You see yourself: Thanks to synchronisation, you can see the movements of the other person's head and hands.

  • You can hear yourself: Integrated voice communication enables natural dialogue.

  • You're cooperating: You can point your pointer at specific details („Look at this detail“), pass virtual objects around or walk around the model together.

It's a full-fledged business meeting, just without the flights and hotels.

Logistics? Zero.

Calculate the cost of your last show. Renting space, building a stand, transporting exhibits, insurance, customs declarations... Now imagine crossing it all out.

With a VR showroom:

  • You don't need 100 m² of space. You just need a small table and two chairs.

  • You have no limits. You can take the whole product line with you, including the biggest machines.

  • You're mobile. Your showroom fits in a backpack. You can take it directly to the CEO's office, who makes purchasing decisions but doesn't go to trade shows.

Sell smarter. Sell in VR.
